I'm reassured that over 70 percent of the US population sees the Congressional Republicans' intervention into this as wrong, and totally disagree with the American Talibans' views on this case.
The cynicism of Delay and the rest of these wingnuts is mindboggling (so to speak)!
What gets me most about it is the hypocrisy. Why wasn't GWB on the "side of life" when his Texas law killed an innocent baby against the objections of his mother?

I miss this blog, I found that I usually related to your opinions and style of writing. Our individual lives may be rolling along in spite of the crazy fucking lunatics leading us down the path to destruction, but sooner or later we'll have to confront them, and you did a good job prepping us for the fight.
Great comments. It makes me feel so much better to hear people that echo not only my feelings, but the level of utter disgust I feel regarding the hipocrisy of the Republican party and religious conservatives.
