I believe you are right. The face has been ripped off and what's underneath is a lot more ugly than what anyone would have thought, unless they've been looking there for a long time and had the foresight to tell that one disaster would be all it would take.

yeah, I'm totally rethinking everything I thought I believed. My grandmother is still alive and was a teen in the depression. She lived her life feeding and housing others. I often said she should be a non-profit org or something, but she gave so much.
We in our family used to get mad because she took in to her home what we thought were the "losers" of the world.......
She always warned us.".....it could happen again.....you don't understand......what is money when people are hungry......."
Yeah, we are seeing the reality of how much poor we have in our country now. Grandma was right maybe.
As I said a couple of posts back, this country is looking more and more like 19th century Europe.

other than that I think you're correct. The danger is that when the right get desperate they resort to extreme measures. I would not put anything past these criminals...
