Komenlah apa-apa yang patut!

NZ, I've been listening to indonesian songs for my entire life and have been a fan for a long time. I think Indonesian music industry definitely has much higher standard than Malaysian music industry. I'm really glad when a lot of Indonesian music started to come to Malaysia for the past few years. This had set a higher bar for Malaysian musician and encouraged them to produce better music. Anyways, I just think that it's a bit unfair for you to compare Indonesian music to Malaysian music when clearly, their music industry is superior to us. I might be a bit bias on this, but it's just my opinion.

p/s: I hope you can upload more Audy's songs. I really enjoyed it.

Yes it's true. I actually thought about this matter this morning before I headed for breakfast (yeah, the kind of things in my head can sometimes be weird). I thought, if I were to review Malay films, it'll be unfair if I compare Malaysian films with films from Hollywood. It goes the same with music. I cannot compare Exists with U2, no matter how good Exists is today. They are both on a different playing fields.

Indonesians music are indeed, way ahead of us in terms of composisition, arrangement and style. But I think, we are still comparing apples with apples here. The language and technology used are the same. The talents... well, that's something we can talk about, right?

As consumers and music lovers, we should show them record company execs that we are tired of listening to mediocre acts. I think they've got the point across to them, somehow. The local music scene has indeed improving. At least, that's what I think, lah
