NZ, I've been listening to indonesian songs for my entire life and have been a fan for a long time. I think Indonesian music industry definitely has much higher standard than Malaysian music industry. I'm really glad when a lot of Indonesian music started to come to Malaysia for the past few years. This had set a higher bar for Malaysian musician and encouraged them to produce better music. Anyways, I just think that it's a bit unfair for you to compare Indonesian music to Malaysian music when clearly, their music industry is superior to us. I might be a bit bias on this, but it's just my opinion. |

Yes it's true. I actually thought about this matter this morning before I headed for breakfast (yeah, the kind of things in my head can sometimes be weird). I thought, if I were to review Malay films, it'll be unfair if I compare Malaysian films with films from Hollywood. It goes the same with music. I cannot compare Exists with U2, no matter how good Exists is today. They are both on a different playing fields. |
