I read your story on Jena's site. As a doctor, i want to commend your husband and yourself for making that, as you say, "one decision." it may be easier to just let go of your child's life and continue with your own lives, however, you made an effort to fight, not only for your child, but with her to overcome the challenges of her condition.
On top of that, you finished college, got a master's degree and participate in civic and church activities, paint, write, and more. You are an extraordinary woman.
Your story will be an inspiration to those couples who are faced with the same moral dilemma about their child's future.
