Gravatar This is very sad =0(

Gravatar I meant to comment on this last week - it was one of my favorites! You have a clever mind. The homage to the downed squirrel is priceless, and so well rendered. Kudos!

Gravatar I just love your drawings!

Gravatar Most squirrels are suicidal, I think. They always do that last-minute dart in front of cars.

Gravatar Poor skippy, I'm sure he's looking down from squirrel heaven approvingly at being your entry for IF!
I love ALL your work, so wonderful.

Gravatar I just hit a squirrel last week. It was in the center of a main highway and had that look like it could go either way. Surrounded by traffic as I was, I couldn't veer. He darted under my car at the last second.

Oh, awesome art, as always. Your Illustration Friday pics are always the best of the bunch.

Gravatar the road and acorn border (brilliant fun touch !), textures (wow !), but especially your rendering of Skippy (oh that dear face !), all are just simply wonderful !

Oh and congrats on your Tiny Showcase print !!!

Gravatar Your work is fabulous. I adore ! ^^

Gravatar Lovely picture - I really look forward to your illustration friday entries

Gravatar this is tragic and brilliant at the same time. Poor, poor Skippy. If only he'd "skipped" the road and kept to a wooded path.

Gravatar Oh my...Poor Skippy. An interesting twist on b&w. : ) like the asphalt road and acorn border. Oh, heck...I like it all.

Gravatar This is so adorable and sad. I like the fact that you used a loose interpretation of the theme. I also like the road as the frame—poor Skippy's demise.

Finally I love the textures. I saw in an earlier post that you do textures in Illustrator. I was trying to figure that out for my last Illustration Friday, but I had no luck. Any advice you'd be willing to share?

Gravatar aw Skippy. you are missed and loved by all.
