Gravatar If it makes you feel any better, Noah, my show opens on Friday and we had tech (our ONLY time in the space) last Friday and we didn't even finish a cue-to-cue. And I'm in the union!

(We, also, however, totally cut the original script to shreds... AND THE PLAYWRIGHT NEVER EVEN NOTICED! So maybe we're dealing with completely opposite situations here)

but don't you feel better?

Gravatar as a director who has taken Noah Smith drivel and turned it into Death of a Salesman for kids, I know it will be good. (kidding, you are a genius)

Is it wrong to say I am nostalgic for that kind of Children's Theatre woes?

Gravatar Hey,

just my 2 cents: I use speedthrough/readthroughs a LOT, with the actors just sitting. It seems to help them keep a running "Tab" of the script. I think in cases like this, where it's clear that they need more rehearsal time (or they need to just you know, act), that they can help...

so don't feel bad about that!

Best.
