I love Joy to the World also, but you have to skip the 3rd verse:

PS - I did a lot of research this year about pre-Christian Midwinter holidays, and found it very inspiring. I would recommend The Winter Solstice by John Matthews if you want some background about the universality of calling in the light during this darkest time of year for your screenplay.
