It would be interesting if the metamorphmagus thing actually had some plot relevance. I mostly thought it was introduced to make Tonks that much cooler .

Yeah, it would be interesting to see a list of things Rowling has set up (magical creatures we haven't seen yet, potions, spell, etc) and figure out whether we'll get payoff in book seven or if they were just atmosphere.
