I don't get people who like Superbad better than Knocked up. I love Michael Cera probably more than the next gal, but I found Superbad's constant insults particularly those involving female genitalia too much to take. The funny was okay, but hearing how my own lady parts are bad over and over again... I don't need that. Basically because of this movie I hate Jonah Hill.
Knocked Up had so many better relationships. I loved the relationships with the sisters--caring and funny.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that everyone should see Juno.

Hey Amanda,
I guess I appreciated the craft involved in SuperBad, honestly. I just think Knocked Up is a very very poorly made movie, and for some reason we've decided as a culture that it's okay to poorly make movies so long as they're comedies, and that annoys me.
I agree with your objection to SuperBad's more sexist elements. Both movies suffer from the same problem, writing wise-- They show positively reprehensible people, who reform a *little bit* and we're supposed to be overjoyed. If you met Ben from Knocked Up in person (or his terrible friends) you'd probably be disgusted, but the movie manipulates you into thinking that he'd be somehow a good match for Katherine Heigl.
Superbad does the same thing, I fully admit that. I just appreciate that it did it *better*, to my mind.
Both of them pale in comparison to HOT FUZZ.
