I never knew that expensive decking could be made to sound so erotic.

Isn't the Latin legal term for handling your own Escrow "Auto-escrotum?"

I know the feeling. Currently, I rent a townhouse and when I visit my friends with their own homes, I feel a little envious. But we both need to remember, we will have the big deck and gorgeous condo/house one day. And like you, I not only want to enjoy my house and deck, but I'd like to be able to still take vacations, shop and all the other fun stuff in life.

It must really have been a long day at the office, because I was way more than halfway through this post before I started to think that you might be leaving some double entendre in your verbal wake. Love it!

Yeah, it took me way too long to figure out that we were talking about different kinds of wood here.

I do so know what you are going thru. Some friends of mine were dropping off an air conditioner ( I don't have a/c or cable) and I was turning lights off as I went to answer the door because the house just looks old and grungy. Until I get a raise or a promotion, there's not a whole lot I can do except apologize and save up for paint and large artwork.

Ya, I have housing envy too. I live in a perfectly nice apartment, but I so wanna move, but can't right now since housing prices are out of control here in NY.

Jake, I've seen the warning labels and have heard the stories (which are all too true).
"WARNING. RUBBING DECKS TOGHETHER FEVERISHLY MAY RESULT IN BURNING BILLS."
It ain't pretty.

I just saw an infomercial in the wee hours this morning that will give one more confidence with the size of their deck. Simply amazing stuff; great stocking stuffer.
