What do you wear for support? Are you old school with a jock strap or new school with compession shorts?
Underwear. Plain old underwear.

I'm in. I think you're crazy for all this running, but I'll sponsor you anyway.

Count me in as a sponsor. I love reading all about this, but today I came away with a new word: moobs. What a great word. Its meaning is clear and it's easier to use than the phrase it takes to replace it. Did you make it up? I will use it often.

You left out one important detail:
What color are the moob straps?

Happy training!

That Justin is so cute, he's got that disheveled morning look going on. Seems to be having difficulty remembering what to do with the pen and paper. Heh heh. Sounds very familiar.
You should train with the faster pace group. I was a 4 hour marathon'er and last year I trained with a 3:20 group and came in at 3:23. So if I can do it..
I would be happy to sponsor you in the AIDS Marathon. The cause is very close to home for me.
And maybe think about sponsoring me in the Ride 2 Survive. I will be cycling 400 km in a single day in order to raise money to fight cancer.
It's all good karma.

I'm also training for the Chicago marathon, but in a decidedly less techy (my moobs are unmonitored) and less supported (my long runs, solitary) manner. That training group sounds great. Nothing like that here in rural Ohio. I saw the registration is now closed. How many typically run it?
Best of luck in your training! I think 45,000 get approved to run Chicago every year and roughly 40,000 cross the finish line.

i replace my running shoes when:
- the soles rip apart
- i step in a puddle by accident and they fill up
- i run around a corner on a wet surface and i almost slip and fall. like wearing socks on a floor that has just been polished with endust.
every 100 miles?
ok, it's no wonder i'm not running the chicago marathon. well, that and the fact that i live nowhere near chicago.
good luck!

Your shoes should match your yellow shirt. Nice of Brooks to think of you when they designed the shoe.
I've got PayPal set up on a hair trigger waiting for your donation page.
