I love rock climbing! It's holding the rope as someone else climbs that terrifies me. Which is probably why I have such a hard time finding climbing partners...

You have NO idea how many times I quit in the middle of a climb. But my rope guy wouldn't let me quit so I had to keep going. Except for the time when I fell off the wall halfway up my fourth climb and he could see I was a little rattled so he let me down.

I love climbing the rock wall here at the university gym. Though I do admit I've found it a bit ego bruising to struggle with the climbs while watching the early 20somethings crawl about the thing like lizards!
