Gravatar Wow.

You know, man, I've been reading your blog regularly for a while now, and there's something about it that simply astonishes me:

No matter how much I LOVE the witty, snappy, my-personal-trainer-wants-blood, good-humoured posts, you always come up, every once in a while, with some absolutely BRILLIANT post about being gay, and how serious a matter it is. And, damn, they are always, ALWAYS, so inspiring!

Thank you for that, Jake.

Best,
J.

Gravatar They tried to get rid of us, we survived, let's dance.

Gravatar You just HAD to say it better than me (and most others) didn't you? Amazing post. Thank you for your voice.

(here's my weak and feeble attempt)

Gravatar One of your finest.
Have a wonderful proud weekend.

Gravatar Your day will come soon. In Canada we can marry whomever we want and the military welcomes the gays. The really great thing about this situation is that being gay becomes only one small aspect of who we really are in within our society.

Gravatar Damned straight: proud and loud. Carry on.

Gravatar There are SO many reasons to be proud.

Please post pictures!

Love,

Chili

Gravatar Love this.

I'm going to the Pride festival in Houston today, and I'm roadtripping to DC in October to participate in National Equality March... can't wait!

Gravatar Simply, amazingly well put!

Gravatar well said....and done so beautifully...thanks. I am Steven Moores mom and I am so glad that he shared this....

Gravatar Well said.

Two great posts: Gay Marriage Q&A and Why are we proud.

Gravatar Thank you once again for your wonderful yearly reminder!

Gravatar Gays were once Francis Bacon, Alexander, Alan Turing, Plato, and Hans Christian Anderson. Now they're a bunch of Brunos who were dumb enough to get all enthralled over a politician like Obama.
