I'm glad your dry spell only last about a year... Mine is going on two years now and I'm wondering if it'll ever ignite again...

I copied and pasted your quote about writing so that people could get "that nostalgic feeling", and it's now clinging to my wall for its life, staring at me smarmily as my write.

I appreciated it a ton. That really is so true – all of the movies that I experienced through growing up (Jurassic Park, E.T., The Goonies...) and I now look back on as some of my favorites have exactly that ... it's that indescribable, but definitely there "nostalgia". It's just a wonderful thing, and the more I watch movies that have it, the more I want to write movies that have it.

I just haven't quite figured out how to do that, yet. It's nice to look further down the road and see you, there, waving back at us though. Thanks.
