Damn right! I have to say, i'm not that surprised though...
Lodge formal complaint after formal complaint. I know you can get this attended to properly.

Holy foosh!
Last year I got my tire slashed there.
I've noted this weekend they're half way through putting in a security gate with keycard access. Too late, it seems.
At CampIt, Saugatuck, they have a 24hr security company at the gate. Which makes me wonder just what kind of hell they've been through.
I say a letter to Xtra may be in order too. See how fast the Simcoe police get moving after a national gay media source comes sniffing around their little hovel.

OMFG...
As if the owners are not going through enough hell as it is...
It took one hour after we called for a cruiser to meet us at the campground for slashed tires, you'd think they'd sent someone a bit faster when some dickhead used a car as a weapon in a public place???

Hmmm. . .I bet MADD would be interested in the police response to an apparent case of drunk driving. And the local TV news programs love good visuals, like tire ruts in a garden or a fence someone has obviously drive a truck through.

If I was there I would have taken hundreds of pictures and called many, many different media by now. However, since i was not there I have to get all the details I can and tread very carefully.
My fear is that people there will not want to pursue it for fear of making it worse. Bit of a catch 22.

That's disheartening. Especially given that there was a license plate for the police to follow up on.

Don't laugh. I would make it happen if I felt the need. Haven't ruled it out yet.
