DDT was banned in the USA because it caused more harm than good.
Your comment is incorrect. DDT eliminated malaria in the U.S. People do not die from malaria here thanks to DDT. And we stopped using it and the eagles have recovered. In fact, they will be taken off the threatened and endangered lists soon.
Why should one more African child die. If it was your child you would be spraying DDT everywhere.

Wouldn't every American be dead by now if it was carcinogenic? We sprayed it everywhere in the U.S. for decades to eliminate insect pests and malaria. And cancer isn't killing 2,000 children every day in Africa. Malaria is.
Your are right about Africa and cancer but aren't we dying from cancer and everything else in America.
