I would like to see Obama and other Democrats support expansion of nuclear power, biofuels and ethanol. With the proper safeguards, there is no reason why we should not build more nuclear power plants. 76% of the energy needs in France are met by atomic power. There is no reason why the U.S. cannot become energy independent.
We agree with you. We know Obama 'gets' this, but he will probably bend some because of the bias against nuclear power. He is already being a real overseer by calling for more oversight of nuclar plant operations. Exelon in his backyard though provides a good example of how important nuclear power can be.
