Pathetic! "we must lead the world ..." HAH - the world already left us behind on this issue due to a failure of our own elected "losership". 13 months.

Gravatar I hope you are not talking about the Kyoto Protocol?

Gravatar Whats funny is that all you Global DOomers woouldbe the first to CRY if we went back to burning candles for light and bicycles. Wake up. If this was anything more than a ploy by Gore to get some fame and cash, why didnt he do something when he was VP for 8 years. HMMMMMMMMM

Gravatar We just wish Gore would get his carbon offsets from us.

Gravatar You bring up 911...as if it has anything whatsoever to do with Bush being as inept at environmental policy as he is with everything else. I heard a rumor that he actually learned to tie his shoes right last week - a true breakthrough! You bring up 911....it occured on who's watch?

Gravatar Oh mercy. I hope you're not one of those Truthers.

Actually the Bush administration's Asian Pacific Partnership is the best climate change program out there. Of course you probably know nothing about it or think it is some conspiracy by Cheney to rule the world. Why don't you work a little harder to clean up New Jersey before poking your head out into the rest of the world.

Gravatar Typical straw man from the Bush shill. Again, the train left the station and we, the US, due to ineptitude in the White House, missed our opportunity to join with the international commmunity and lead the effort instead of burying our heads in the sand. Stay in denial, shill.

"In a dramatic finish to a U.N. climate conference, world leaders adopted a plan Saturday for negotiating a new global warming pact by 2009, after the United States backed down in a battle over wording supported by developing nations and Europe.

The U.S. stand had drawn loud boos and sharp rebukes _ "Lead ... or get out of the way!" one delegate demanded _ before Undersecretary of State Paula Dobriansky reversed her position, clearing the way for adoption of the so-called "Bali Roadmap."

Stick to the topic, shill. The US did not lead, so now we are asked to get out of the way - imagine that. 13 months, shill, and we can get some leadership.
