From your list of question that should be asked during the PBS debate: "10) Does global warming have a more serious impact on Black communities than majority communities?" How do you think Fred Thompson, whom you claim is "good" [whatever the heck that means] on global warming, would answer this question? Hint for you - he denies global warming is occuring as a phenomenon caused by GHG emissions.
Why are you obsessed with Fred Thompson's position on global warming? And why don't you accept the fact that regardless of his position, he supports technologies that solve the problem. Thus, he is helping the Black community. Now you should give Mike Huckabee a look. There is a visionary.
My obsession is not with Fred Thompson. My concern is your lack of grounded reasoning for the positions you take. For how long have you insisted that Al Gore should not be credited for his efforts on global warming? Now he's your hero after being recognized as a Nobel Laureate. Then you tell us Bush is as "good" on the environment as Teddy Roosevelt. Man, what meds are you on, because it might just cause folks to drop the whole argument for legalizing marijuana if they could get their hands on some of what you're taking. You've stated that the methane to markets solution should be adopted instead of Kyoto - are you ready to back away from that now? Stop trying to substitute your baseless opining for facts by making such patently illogical, and frankly asinine, statements such as "Fred Thompson is 'good' on global warming," and he is helping the Black community. Where has he ever made a statement of concern about helping your black posterior, or any other black posterior for that matter?! Nonsense!

Well Gore is not my HERO. We have acknowledged his work. He has done great work on this issue since leaving the White House. Now his solutions are another matter. He has not recommended reasonable solutions to the problem so we will have much to say about that in the future. Of course, you can continue to drink his Kool-Aid. Moreover, he and President Clinton did not support Kyoto either.
President Bush is at least as good as Teddy Bear on the environment and he is not a raving racist like Teddy was.
I do not do drugs so you are on your own with that.
Kyoto is a failure. ALL of the signatories are admitting that. It is why they are moving on to the next phase to try for a Kyoto II. So Bush was right again.
I do not equate Fred Thompson with personally helping me with helping the Black community. To the extent he is good on global warming by supporting nuclear power, he is helping the Black community.
You keep on coming here and we will work hard to educate you on these important issue.
I'll keep coming because the lack of rational thought behind your positions warrants challenge. Nikita Kruschev and Leonid Brezhnev were proponents of nuclear power as well, but I sure wouldn't argue that they are good on the environment and, therefore, should have garnered the support of black folks because we would somehow have benefited from their public policy postions. It's laughable, and you make yourself look ridiculous with that kind of logic.
Oh...and nice try at the ole bait and switch with the race card. The topic was environmentalism - but being pseudo-environmentalist, it was probably easy for you to make that jump. You're learned well from your massah.
The Black community is as American as apple pie. There aren't many Black Russians or Black neighborhoods in Russia, and I doubt that America's Black community was of concern to Niki and Leo. Their loss. They probably would have enjoyed the 'flavor.'
I see you use ad hominem because of the weakness of your arguments. I will not lower myself to that level. Mostly because, if you are Black, there is already to much black-on-black abuse in Ameica.
