I thought Call of Duty 4 pretty much kicked Halo 3's butt. Part of that is probably serious relief from not having to fight any annoying World Wars, and how people die in that game really freaked me out, too. They don't just fall to the floor and disappear, they actually touch their wounds and have really bad deaths. I think it adds a jarring element to the game. Other personal highlight: Mario Kart with online play - about damn time. And I wanted to know more about Manhunt 2 on the Wii.

You totally delivered on your E3 coverage, Tom! :p
