I'm in the same boat. I played the hell outta it over the weekend. Still on the North map as well. I get sick of how fast the AI resets. I will head just over a hill and oops! I forgot something, then turn around to find all the enemies back in place... Still, I find myself going back for more every night. Beautiful game.

I'm not really playing it anymore, mostly because I just can't be bothered and I think the multiplayer is pants.

I should have bought Fallout 3 or Fable 2 instead :-(

Good post, Far Cry 2 should be played once in a while. Graphics are great and run smoothly,but it does get repetitive. I am at 65% completed. I play when I like.....I'm not in a hurry. Good value for the money, but they spent too much time on the graphics, not enough on the brain cramps (if you know what I mean)
