Thanks for the feedback! - Tom

Gravatar Oh my! You've downloaded (well, by now hopefully you should have) 6 whole CDs?!?! Hope it was cheaper than buying it, mate, but still always proud of yer innovative thinking....

Gravatar Eventually it started going pretty fast (I average about 230kb/s) but by then I was tired so climbed into bed. It wasn't that much to download though, it was compressed into about 1.5GB (unzips into around 7GB) Finished it off this morning (the delights of being able to pause downloads on Steam!) and I've played about two hours today. Loving it so far!

It was only £15 (£30 in the shops) so I'm happy with my purchase. Runs perfectly as well.

This may be my whole new approach to PC gaming :p

Gravatar Only 15 pounds? Quite a substantial difference then. I do like game-boxes though. That's boxes not DVD cases mind you.

Have you tried the original Longest Journey?

Gravatar That's when you put it down to exchange rates (at least I hope they take exchange rates into account! PayPal reckoned they did anyway).

Ah, the good old days of the bulky PC cases. I used to have quite a few of them that took up most of a shelf. Nowadays the same amount of games barely fill half.

Nope, but I may well do have completing the sequel.

Gravatar TLJ should be available for less than 10 euros, mind you... It's been a budget game since the Jurassic period..

Gravatar Digital downloaders I hate you and I will hate you until any ISP decides that also my area is worth of having any kind of broadband service!

Gravatar This was a great game, despite its flaws (which were mostly gameplay and not story). Digital downloads definately has a wasy to go but it probably has a big place in the future.

I just downloaded some free games recently. They're FPSs based on the Source engine. Pretty fun, called KumaWar. Not sure why its free though, but whatever. Check it out at http://www.kumagames.com
