Please, please, do babble on... It's such a babble-worthy offering after all and I'm definitely picking it up!

I feel almost exactly the same way about Episode 2 and the entire HL saga. I wish it were longer or they'd release episodes sooner. The cut scenes (I guess they aren't exactly cut scenes since you can move around and do stuff) are great, but get a trifle tiring the second time you play since you cannot skip these parts and have to listen to a story you already know...

The best thing about half life is undoubtably the 'G-man', however Valve has not name him 'G-man' its just a nick-name. I hope his story is developed in the next game, as he is only seen a few times in episode 2.
I found both episodes too short as i compleated episode 1 in about 4 hours and episode 2 in 3 hours.
"each nook and cranny given undue care and attention" I compleatly agree with you there, I found many strange things off the 'set path' that Valve is leading us on, I assume this is to make the game seem more realistic and the environment seems to tell a story of its own. My final comment is how brilliant the music is, and can anyone tell me where i can download it?
