Thanks for the feedback! - Tom

Gravatar Most interesting post and I definitely see your point, though the trailer did feel akward to say the least...

Gravatar hahaha u no i think that this is 100% correct
and u also forgot to add that the people that make this game are NOT white
theyre asian

Gravatar Wow i totally agree. I'm so sick of the race card being played where it shouldn't be.

Gravatar Man that is funny. Just wait until the game comes out and hits store shelves in America. You know Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton will have something to say. They like to do things to get their name in the spot light. But who really care what COLOR or NATIONALITY the zombies are its just a GAME. GET OVER IT there is nothing more. And there was already a black zobie in Resident Evil 2.

Gravatar Sure, but what are the odds of running into a black person in Haiti? Lol.

Gravatar I'd rather ask what are the odds of not running into a black person in Haiti :P

Gravatar by the way even though Haiti is a country were about 95% of the people are black, it IS in the Americas.

Gravatar So. Do some research on this guy, Roberto Lovato, and you find out he is a big supporter of Hispanic rights. He also writes for several hispanic newspapers and online news blogs. He is just another "stop holding us down" freaks. GET OVER IT ROBERTO!

Don't pick a fight with gamers. You'll get a fight form the whole internet.

Gravatar I don't know why you're surprised people have made assumptions on a game they know nothing about. That is what people do.

Gravatar Johan - Since this post is old it was speculated around the time I posted it that it may be in Haiti or Africa, which is why I put Haiti/Africa. It has been revealed that the game is to be set in Africa, so I should probably update this post.

Gravatar The hilarious thing here is that what they fail to realize is that NOT including blacks would be just as racist as including them supposedly is. People can't seem to wrap their heads around the fact that maybe, just maybe, not every attempt to use people of different ethnic backgrounds is a case of racism, and is in fact pertinent to the story being told.

Like you said, racism goes both ways. Excluding blacks from games is even more racist than including them. You'd think people would do some research and realize that no once in any RE game have you ever had to shoot someone (or something) that wasn't white. And now they move the area to a different locale where the zombies being black makes PERFECT SENSE and it's totally racist.

I think it's entirely absurd. Hilariously so. People need to use their heads for a bloody change instead of just using every single scapegoat they can find to further their own causes, because it usually makes them look like idiots in the process.

Gravatar Very well-written article. I was pondering whether or not to write something similar to this. You've done it, so I don't have to. :P

Nice work.

Gravatar Hilarious. Will the stupidity never cease? If you have a game on-location, why fill the game with Aryan opponents just for the PC-ness of it? RE5 is right on the money here, and I hope this yapping racism chant dies a quick death.

Gravatar It's not hard to read too much into a game. It's as easy to spout some stuff about the game representing greed and capitalism in the western world contributing to the destruction of third world countries, or other likewise opposing views but ultimately they don't get to be outraged, and people (particularly game-phobes) just love to be opinionated.
