Judge Diamond appointed a court evaluator named Joncie Rowland. In cases I know of, this court evaluator did not in any way follow the law re her job as court evaluator, and Judge Diamond also ran a kangaroo court, not following the relevant law. Judge Diamond adhered to Ms. Rowlands reccomendations, despite the fact that Ms Rowland's report was not circulated to the parties, nor made available to cross examination and witnesses, even though that was required by law. This lead to great injustice, misery, and even hastened at least one death.
Judge Diamond awarded her court evaluator, Joncie Rowland court evaluator fees way in excess of those specified by statute. But when challenged on this, at a legal cost in excess of the "fee", Judge Diamond did not enforce the fee she had ordered. She knew it was illegal, and by that time she was under ethical scrutiny in numerous cases.
It is not clear whether this Joncie Rowland has any appropriate credentials to serve as a court evaluator, other than being, as both she and Judge diamond asserted, a long time friend of Judge Diamond. She may have provided fundraising support to Judge Diamond's campaign.
Judge Diamond is plainly a hack and a crook. She should be off the bench and in jail. Her total lack of empathy and her disregard for the law have caused terrible suffering and injustice to many. She abuses and discredits the legal system, and now her bad behavior is being held up by neonazi lunatics as proof of their pervasive hates. In fact she has no genuine regard for her people or their ethical principles . The only loyalties she demonstrates are to those who can do something for her.
Judge Diamond is one of many Guiliani era hacks the city is still stuck with.
