Gravatar I just love that word BUNG. It is so perfect. Medical terminology be damned---POO is another one I enjoy. And boy, do I see my fair share.

Then again. I could play with poo all day. Just do NOT give me a trach patient. I go all urpy!

Gravatar Yes, and then there the words, "cruddy," "crappy," "gnarly," "icky," "squishy," "nasty," "smidge," "skosh," and "tad".

Give me the trach patients. Strip 'em, stick 'em, and shock 'em. Hoo-ahh!

Gravatar Yer good NW, you got em---Better U than me. Two horrible experiences with them in the past.

Told the Hubs do not ever get one of those things near me (oh, and ditto for the feeding tube) work with death every day, not afraid. DNR as I sit. As far as I am concerned any day after 50 is a gift.

Funny, I've always said that and always felt that way. Love life and don't have a death wish. Guess I've seen too much of medical science to cling soooooooo hard.

Gravatar Hi there:

I found your blog today, and I have to tell you I really love your writing style.

Mr. Karr was topic of conversation on our unit the last couple of weeks and as psych nurses, we knew he was just a creepy dude looking for his 15 minutes of fame. I hope they keep him locked up at least until he pays back the government for his flight back home. He's a very sick pup that needs to be kept away from children.

Gravatar Motherjones, thanks for visiting my blog, and for sharing. I admire psych nurses who can do a difficult job well.

It's sad that this guy had to use someone else's misfortunes to satisfy his own desire for whatever he felt he needed. Or to bail him out of Thailand.

At the same time, the media circus surrounding the Ramsey case is deplorable. What was it about this one kid that made her more important than the others who were murdered that year? Well, her parents turned her into a 4-year-old beauty pageant whore for starters, but other than that...
