This is why I am not voting for any incumbents. This kind of crap is just a drop in the ocean compared to what goes on in any type of congressional setting whether it would be on Capitol Hill or in your state's capital.
I mean it, no incumbents. I don't care of they are republicans or democrats or belong to any third party. If they are in office now, they aren't getting my vote.

That would be quite a switch if everyone would do what Pennsy suggests. The current rate for incumbent retention is about 96-97 percent.
Stevens is notorious no doubt for all the pork he brings home to Alaska. Here is Pennsylvania we had the legislature give themselves a pay raise that was done in the dead of night and it was concocted by a PA Supreme Court Justice to circumvent a provision in the State Constitution about pay raises going into effect before the end of the current term because they wanted our money NOW!
There was so much of a public uproar about this pay raise that the legislature had to go back and reverse themselves. Even after that, even after that! Some representatives blatantly refused to give the money back. Not to be outdone by the legislative branch in their outright greed and deception some very high ranking State paid judges got together to sue the legislature for reversing the pay raise. The judges had originally been included on the pay raise but had not received payments by the time the raises had been reversed. Talk about hutzbah! I've seen a lot of things in my life politically but even that shocked me.
