Yowsers. Some wanna-be patients need their moms or somebody to give them The Look. I have an old high-school teacher I could volunteer to come work in your ER to do that for you, she'd do a great job at it, I mean, the woman was born to be a bouncer anyway.

Lessons learned as a cancer patient & motorcycle rider:
*Always love the nurses.
*Nurses like chocolate. M&M's seem to be a favorite.
*Always respect the nurse even if the Doctor is doing his best impression of the village idiot. Nurses can usually re-educate the doctor.
*Nurses come from student nurses.

Yes, I was one of the complainers. My issue is that my mom was in or should have received high level treatment. She was barely hanging on and had a serious heart attack early the next morning. She was suffering from late stages cancer.
Looking back, perhaps we should have let her die before then by feeding her pain killers instead of IVs, but no medical doctor had discussed this with us before then. My mom had a good couple weeks after that and we let her go after that.
