Strength in numbers, NW. The "silent majority" has a voice now, and is not gonna sit idly by and allow "officers of the court" like this guy to go unnoticed any longer.
Thanks for standing up!

I doubt this man is a lefty, a righty, a pro-war, an anti-war, or anything requiring any kind of thought or commitment. Do a little research and read his history.
He is a scumbag who got pissed off at a piece of creative driving, keyed the car involved, and then tried to use the DOD decals as justification.
Pure and simple.

Shay, I disagree. one need only look at who his boss is to know where his allegiance lies.

Shay, you do bring up excellent points, and you caused me to step back and look at this critically. I'm glad you did!
The basis for my comments about Grodner's liberal bent is that he works for an Alderman who is notoriously anti-military.
Besides that, even if we remove any anti-military sentiment as motive, Grodner caused damage to the Marine's car to the cost of more than 2,000 dollars. That qualifies Grodner's actions as a felony.
Grodner was also censured for fraud a few years before this incident.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and insightful comments. I hope you stick around for future discussions!

I completely agree. Throw the bum in jail, fine him AND have him debarred.
(unbarred? disbarred? ah hell...shoot 'im).

William: I thought you might be interested to learn that Mr Grodner had his day in court last week. His case was heard by the Honorable William O'Malley.
Interestingly enough, Judge O'Malley served in the United States Marine Corps from 1961-1964.
(Karma...she's a bitch).
