Horrible...so sad. I really hope the CNA's and others who worked at this facility this morning get the support they will surely need. I cannot imagine being at work as this happened...right in the middle up morning get ups. It leaves me speechless.

Did you read the news article about a month ago on the gentleman that was a professional wrestler in his younger years, who now has dementia, and slammed his nursing home roommate too the floor and killed him?
That'd be a tough one, too.
This news is dumbfounding.All nursing homes must take this as message for them to make sure that their security is tight enough to prevent such incidents. Every entrance and exit should be manned. If necessary, they should search every incoming guest or personnel. It's the right of seniors to feel safe and secured within the confines of their nursing home.
