I've been hunting for The Esso Trinidad Steel Band's version of I Want You Back for over 30 years now.

When WLIR was a freeform station in the 70s, they'd play this often and I grew to love it - much thanks!

funny just last week i was thinking how happy steel drums make me. except that i can't remember exactly what songs i was listening to last week. that esso trinidad steel band track does remind me of an ex-bf though. he used to play that all the time. and you're right... it's managed to retain its charm.
