Miguel -- if your host doesn't forward unused bandwidth on a monthly basis into a reservoir you can fall back on when you go over-limit, you might want to consider a switch.
We've also been screwed by direct linking lately.

how did you figure out there was a direct link? I also went over bandwidth a couple days ago (which was surprising because I had had roughly the same number of visitors as in March .... )
I caught a direct link on the Sound Opinions board once but I only knew about it because people clicked through on another nearby link and it showed up in my stats
it's not a big deal. i'll just go ysi until May 1, and i replaced a few of the .jpgs here.
i know it was a direct link because i visited BoingBoing one day and saw they were directly linking to an mp3 i was hosting here. that's something like several thousand people pounding your bandwidth on a daily basis. it was just a mistake, and they rectified it after i caught it.
