HA! The perfect opportunity to tell they story (without sounding like a gossip which I clearly am) of a fellow playground mother.
She looked to be in her early/mid 20s. Two children, on the swings next to mine.
A casual conversation about our children ensued. There was a long pause.
She popped her thumb into her mouth and began to twirl her hair.
I was thinking perhaps someone should've broken her of that habit a little earlier - like, say, before she had kids of her own!
