i've been checking your blog almost everyday bec. i was sure something was going on! well well! he wanted to come out i guess! inshallah all the test will come out clean and don't worry about the jaundice. my daughter had it for 22 days! and she doesn't have any probs alhamdulillah.

ADORABLE!!!!!!! doesnt look like he has downs to me (but those downs babies r also especially cute) and inshallah the jaundice should clear up quickly. All 7 of mine had it. Well Nzingha 5 officialy puts you in the large family category,I know you will handle it wonderfully but must warn you, you do feel the major change of going from 4 to 5. You take care and enjoy your postpartum days of rest and leisure in Saudi. Ok ok I know us Americans cant ever sit around for 40 days and do nothing, but do try to get your rest.

Mabrouk! I was about to e-mail you and see if you'd had the baby.

He's beautiful and Umar is a great name, masha'allah. (I recently listened to Anwar Awlaki's series on Umar, radhi Allahu anhu, and what an amazing man he was, masha'allah!) For the person who asked how to pronounce it, it's not a long "U" sound; it's actually a short 'ain sound with a dhumma (short "u")... in English, you'll see it spelled Umar or Omar, but neither really sounds the way it sounds in Arabic.

Insha'allah you can get some rest at some point... and I think the jaundice is pretty common and nothing to worry about. Insha'allah the Downs scare is just that; I tease my husband about his big nose and the kids say mine is squashed, so that might just be another sign of Americn genes. (I am curious about the womb identification thing, though, lol.)

Congrats! I figured you were up to something, you had'nt posted in a while. I think he is just precious!!! Good job Momma.

All 3 of my kids had Jaundice and 2 of them had to be under the billi light at home for 2 weeks. Insha'Allah, it will go away. you just make sure he is getting lots of sunshine on his skin and it will clear.

I am so happy for you. Hope the transition with the other kids goes smooth. I thought my 3 year old was going to kill me in my sleep when I had my last baby....she was SO jealous!

Congratz!! My baby came 5;40 minutes after my b-day!.. he looks fine to me. inshaAllah everything will work out well.. I love the fat cheeks! if my mother was their she would kiss his face off and smell his breath every time he yarns. lol I just had my second one and after that ordeal i told them to shut the factory down. 2 is enough in america. Thank you everyone for your well wishes. We are all doing ok. We have had a few changes (Sarti is gone) I'm not resting as I should, but life must go on.
