LOL! Maybe you could put the picture into some program and stretch the height of it until the girl looks tall and skinny (like Mike Teevee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). 
Photoshop...now that's a magic wand; although it requires some skills. But anyways humans will always be humans; always imperfect and complaining and refusing to understand that the grass is not always going to be green on their side of the river.

What is funny is I can imagine you talking to this sister in your oh, so honest way.
Sigh - perhaps you should take a photo of a more visually pleasing child and give her that. I don't understand why people wouldn't want photos that look like their children - with all their faults, quirks, personality and character. Isn't that what it is all about? Don't know if you have seen the Dove Evolution of a Model commercial on Youtube but watch it if you can - it is an eye opener!

Jenny- no one here is used to my 'honest way' lol. I usually get looks, or as a British friend sayd "Your bang out of order" as she laughs.
Sharon- I love that commercial I've seen it. They are running some beauty campaign in the US- they really need it here. BUT Dove is one that puts out face whitening products here.. so its a bit contradicting.
This is hilarious!! I love the way you suggested diet under your breath. The sad thing is that some of those kids are really huge and unflattering and with parents acting like this headmistress is doing.. looking for quick cosmetic fix-its, I am afraid the situation would look worse soon. Good luck taking pictures!

Lol Oman would be a good choice and also bad. Mr. Man has a college friend that lives there and they'd probably hang out every chance they got.
Life of an expat, you never know when or where. For all we know it could be Russia.. ok for Mr. Man only at that point I would be living single and happily in Malaysia while Mr. Man visits us. lol I'm so not moving to Russia or India, or some of the African countries. Between living conditions and violence.. I have a "Not going to move to" list.

I've noticed the obesity issue here in Kuwait, especially in young childre...it's sad.
Loved this post...I've been editing a lot of my own recent photos (not to make myself look thinner-I'm going to the gym for that). There is something about the 'fix it fast' mentality of a lot of societies.
