Thanks, Rick. I know that it's written in a fairly imperative style (as I said, it's been 17 years since I wrote anything functional!) I am a bit curious as to the right way to take advantage of our architecture -- which is inheritance based -- in an imperative way. I hope to get comments (or maybe other people writing samples) that point me in the right direction!
