James Lileks doesn't know his Scripture. The Commandments were NOT written by Moses...they were written, inscribed into the stone by The Very Hand of Almighty God HIMSELF. The Great I AM wrote the Commandments. They are unchangeable, unbreakable, unrepealable, eternal. The Commandments are based upon God's nature, upon reality, actual FACT. They are descriptions, revelations of the very Character and Nature of God.
We cannot break these Laws, we only harm and break ourselves when we try. Harm is sin and sin is harm.
