Well I see why you are questioning Le Petit Castor with the review from CHOWHound...but popularity can be your worst enemy.
This new restaurant turned lounge/bar in the evening is a hit with Toronto's socialites and neighbourhood attendees. The line up at the door around 11 pm is proof in the pudding. As a locale looking for an aleternative to the firkin pubs..everytime I have been there the seats have been full and and now I make reservations...the food is comfortable just like the atmosphere
