For some reason every rich asshole in Caracas feels like they should have their own political party. I guess it gives all the indolent wealth something to do and makes them feel important.

Not every well to do or middle class person in Venezuela is a reactionary - some are quite good, like the owners of Panaramo.

But everyone also knows who this goverment is of, by, and for. And most importantly the people of Venezuela know it too and that is why they support it.

The people setting up this "party" on the other hand have no support - they are just self-appointed clowns. That is why the opposition parties would never even dare to have internal elections. When no-one showed up it would reveal how little support they have. Plus, GASP, the "medios" wouldn't be able to control everything like they do now.
