LOL 1000X
GOP big Mad over Hil zinger
Ticked off by her comments likening President Bush to Mad magazine's goofy cover boy Alfred E. Neuman, New York's top Republican demanded yesterday that Sen. Hillary Clinton stop "lobbing grenades" at the leader of the free world.
"For her to mock the President like that is unconscionable," GOP boss Steve Minarik told the Daily News the day after Clinton complained the Bush administration has Neuman's "What, me worry?" attitude when it comes to the nation's economic problems.
But Clinton (D-N.Y.) wasn't backing off the analogy yesterday, telling upstate reporters that the administration tells congressional representatives "not to worry about it" when they raise questions about the federal deficit, according to Rochester TV station WHEC.
Minarik argued that Clinton's attacks on the Bush administration reflect she is focusing more on a White House run of her own in 2008 than trying to bring home Washington bacon for New York.

This Just in:
In a secret document leaked to Oilwars it has been learned that the Pentagon and the Securities and Exchange Commission will be meeting to discuss the possible retainment of troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Wall Street Ananlysts say that bringing the troops home now would hurt the economy which has seen a spike in activity since the introduction of magnetized "support our troops" stickers.
One anonymous government source is quoted as saying "we will bring the troops home when the economy says we will, and enough money has been made, and no time sooner or my name isnt Dick Cheney"
More on this breaking news story as details emerge.
