Talking of Zero Credibility we have an entry from the Mr. Jackson Diehl:
Venezuela is poorer as Chávez doles out nation's oil wealth
By Jackson Diehl
Thanks to the United Nations General Assembly, the presidents of three big South American countries visited the United States simultaneously this month. Two are close U.S. allies who, through the diligent pursuit of free-market policies, have overseen impressive economic growth and a reduction of poverty in their nations. The other is a self-declared enemy of Washington who, despite enjoying an extraordinary bonanza of oil revenue, has managed to increase the poor population in his country by a quarter.
Chances are you heard about only one of these guys. Hugo Chávez, the ``revolutionary'' president of Venezuela, cut a flamboyant swath through New York, touring Harlem and the Bronx, chatting with Ted Koppel, basking in the applause of the General Assembly for his hyperbolic denunciations of American ``imperialism'' and capitalism.
By contrast, ÁlvaroUribe of Colombia and Alejandro Toledo of Peru passed through New York and Washington with barely a ripple. Not only that, they didn't really want to be noticed. Neither one was willing to speak publicly about the biggest development in Latin America in years. That is, of course, the increasingly conspicuous emergence of Chávez as the political and ideological successor to Fidel Castro, and his aggressive attempt to succeed where Castro failed in constructing an anti-American alliance.

It appears Mr. Diehl has forgotten, or otherwise left out, some
"> important information in his analysis.
“Not looking at the whole picture”, at its finest folks.

Diehl is a seriel bullshitter. He was the person who also wrote that Chavez had the penal code changed to penalize insulting the president which was a complete lie. The guy has an agenda. And telling the truth it isn't.

Diel is the typical punk-ass who sells himself to those with the most power.
WP is a propaganda wing of the State Department.
If he didn't engage these outright lies then he would'nt be given the opprotunity to write for the WP.
What these punks really hate is that Chavez is challenging the Washington Concensus, the real threat to the Latin American poor.

Yeah OW--since Posada was/is an agent of their US master, they can only hope that Chavez or Castro don't get a hold of this man.
For these vendepatrias, the gringo imperialists can murder and terrorize at will--because they count on the US to ultimately protect their interests (which are firmly rooted in exploitation and unearned priviledges and property).
