Great summary of just some of what Chavez has accomplished. I have a question, though: do you know anything about the current condition of venezuelanalysis.com? It isn't working. I'm not much of a computer guru, but has it possibly been hacked on this eve of the election?

No idea what happened to Venezuelanalysis. Hopefully it's just techinical difficulties (maybe too many hits ) and they'll be back up soon

I have a hunch that a dude in a red shirt will win the election...and now I´m off to bed. Gonna speak at a Hands off Venezuela-meeting tomorrow, so I´m a bit nervous. But not nearly as nervous as I am for all the wonderful people I met in Venezuela. I think that Chávez should give the rich a free Mi Negra-card to be used only in the U.S, it would be good riddance...

Thinking of websites missing--I know Vheadline.com was in trouble a while back, then it seems like they'd gotten a fair stack of donations and were on the comeback trail, and then they went poof! Anyone know what's up with them?
