Gravatar Oiseau, that's what I call a birthday treat! The food sounds great! Karen and I always different dishes too.

Grand dining experiences in France are usually so much better than here. There, it is (rightly or wrongly) assumed that diners know their stuff and more emphasis is placed on the food and drink. It also goes without saying that the staff are PROFESSIONALS. Here, on the whole, there is more emphasis on the peripherals.

A birthday celebration well worth the exhorbitant Offre Speciale!
Cheers!

Gravatar Salut. Sante.

I must now go to wipe my keyboard, sorry to sound crass but I AM drooooling.

Gravatar I'm now very very hungry - sounds delicious.

Gravatar This sounds so unbelievably fantastic that posting about it probably qualifies as mental torture. I'm calling Amnesty Int'l.

Gravatar Thanks for giving me all that gastronomic pleasure at absolutely no calorie cost.

Gravatar Today at lunchtime was the first time I felt inclined to eat again. Soup...

Gravatar I hate you.

Gravatar It sounds like you had a great day with lovely food and good company.

Gravatar Andrea - I don't like your views of the Canadian mountains much either

Gravatar Happy birthday! Mmmm, sounds so delicious. I'm glad I already had dinner.

You know what though? I plan to go to that restaurant too! As soon as possible!

Gravatar huuuuuummmmmmmmm

Gravatar Sedulia - if you do make to this corner of France let me know and I'd be happy to share a coupe with you in town.

Gravatar Oh you are a lucky girl!

Gravatar That has made me very hungry, sat in my office drinking my cuppa soup !

Everything sounds delicous.

Gravatar I'm so glad I read this post after lunch rather than before!

Gravatar Happy belated birthday Oiseau.

Sounds like you really got spoiled with fine wines and foods. Cool!
