I will implement your patch right away. This is great because I could never understand why mac users had this problem with republishing the whole blog.

I'm glad that it being transmitted to you, because it was difficult to solve unless Mac user tries with Mac. I expect it is reflected by the next version, and all Mac users use Thingamablog comfortably.
