Gravatar A sensible man. Kudos on the Quran keeping. Perhaps if we tried this sort of thing more often, we'd have fewer misunderstandings and wars?

Gravatar Ever since I was a child I was told you must never give a 'gift' away for that would be disrespectful of the giver. And if your pretty certain the 'gift' you were giving would never be used or appreaciated, wouldn't that be a sign of insanity to give it anyway? Seems pretty plain if they are going to take them and give them away, well, I don't see the significance of them giving them at all, except that they DO expect them to read it. Just like the christian religious groups who come to my door and give me religious literature. They are trying to convert me. I see the Muslims are not above this either. As for their contributions, their doctors and other professionals don't seem to respect Americans too much anyway. Health care quality is wayyyy down, and they don't believe in pain care management, just from the ones I've seen. But maybe it's because I don't understand their accents. I sure wish our country had made it possible for there to be more American doctors. Because the fact of the matter is, your religious beliefs DOES play a major role in how you conduct business. And they DON'T respect women as such, but believe as men did in our early pre-voting age for women that we are just cattle, possessions that have no rights. Maybe this guy is politically correct, but it doesn't necessarily make him a good guy.
