Gravatar As a smoker, if the owner of an establishment wants to voluntarily prohibit smoking in his place, then not only will I respect that, but I'll defend his right to make that decision for his property. But for the government to come along and tell owners and operators that they can't voluntarily allow smoking is tyrannical beyond reason.

It is interesting to note that the one nation historically who had the strongest anti-smoking laws was Nazi Germany. Hmm...

Gravatar It also sounds like the tyranny of Islam. They too forbid such and have declared to spread Islam all over the United States and take us over. They hate our constitution and wants to destroy it along with our rights. I think Sinator Meyers should be investigated. Anyone who attacks our Constitution like this is a terrorist attempting a bloodless coup.

Gravatar As a non-smoker, I totally agree with Adam. It's the property owner, not the State, who gets to decide the rules in his establishment.
