Here are Governor Henry's options:
1. He vetoes the bipartisan budget, in which case he looks childish and ineffective, an agent of government gridlock. And if the veto is overridden, Henry immediately becomes a lame duck.
2. He line-item vetoes some small part of the bipartisan budget as a way of saving face and trying to show he's still relevant. This also has the bad side effect of looking childish and still makes him look pretty powerless.
3. He signs the budget, suddenly seeing the light after "having a chance to look at the details" upon his return from vacation, blames the bad vibes on Meacham, and takes credit for bipartisanship again.
This last option is probably Henry's best, especially if he was hanging out on the beach with a prince of torts this week.

It is about time Daxon issued a press release critical of the Governor! I wish he had been running for chairman during the 06 election cycle.. maybe there would have been some work done FOR candidates instead of lining the pockets of the consultants!

Daxon do something relevant? Don't make me laugh! He doesn't know if he's scratching his watch or winding his butt!
