Very well said. I would like to know why a State Rep needs $1500 a month for health benefits. Federal employees combined bill with the employee and the Federal Government combined is around $1,000. Why would the State of OK give the reps $1500 a month for health care?
Taxpayers are being ripped off once again by part-time legislators. They cannot be compared to full time State government employees. That doesn't track.
We have some of the highest paid legislators in the Country with some of if not the worst roads and bridges. Time to get their priorities straight and instead of everyone submitting the max number of bills so they can grandstand in front of cameras, let the legislature deal with infrastructure, education, and ETHICS which seems to be missing from both parties and stop some of these nonsense bills we see.
