A word or two from the "reality based community:"
As I never let formal schooling interfere with my education, I learned to read just as well as a most PhDs. I have read Mr. Hendrick's message to Rusty Goodman and nowhere does he state "democrats choose homosexuals over veterans."
Mr Hendricks states clearly that the officers of the ODP were following the rules (an alien concept to some white male politicos)and the veterans can be certified as a federation linked to the ODP when all the required paperwork is completed and submitted to the Central Committee.
I belong to Democratic Party, with all it's warts, because it's like a big raucous family who ultimately care about people...not a sterile, uptight klavern of self-righteous homophobes.
You forgot to mention the gays already have a seat on the CC. The pro-abortionists have a seat on the CC. Both groups just asked and poof the seats were there for them.
Why have Vets been working on this years only to be stonewalled by the liberals?
I don't get it...just exactly what is this 'federation' supposed to be about? What is their purpose and is this simply pertaining to the Democratic party, or an established 'wing' of the federal gov. or state gov.? And what are their powers? Looks like a lot of research here, instead of going off half-cocked...I don't have an opinion on ANYTHING I don't understand.
