Gravatar I fail to see your logic.

Where is the hypocrisy on Praters part?

You are actually making Prater's point and spotlighting that he is the positive force needed in the DA's office.

When Prater said, "A hundred registered sex offenders live closer to schools than the law allows. Lane does nothing, despite repeated complaints from police" he was correct.

And what did Prater do about it? He and the voters showed Lane the door. Prater then pointed out the obstacles in the law that prohibited timely, assured and cost effective prosecutions. But, unlike Lane, Prater is actually moving forward to remove those obstacles.

Sounds like the 'Prater Plan' is moving full speed ahead!

Gravatar Agreed. Sounds like Prater is working to change the "unenforceable" laws. What was is that Lane did? Oh yeah, nothing.

Gravatar Glad to see someone put this spin into perspective. Lane was full of excuses and weak on solutions. I'm not worried about the guy who was peeing in a park and some kid saw him and got him convicted as a 'sex offender.' I am worried much more about the serious sexual predators that often fall through the cracks while police are out chasing those who do not pose a threat. I'm also glad to see Bates back in the fray!
